Builds
Elemental Mastery Support Build
Venti himself is a powerful unit because of how he abuses Swirl mechanics. His burst primes targets by grouping them together and can infuse with an element to provide a lot of AoE damage created from the Burst creating Swirl reactions. This is the main reason why Venti scales very well with EM builds. While matchups are important a well-invested Venti is very much relevant for difficult content.
Burst > Skill
Leveling up talents is a countably finite activity but Venti's damage scales from his Swirls which are only dependent on his level and EM stat.
Main stats: ER or EM/EM/EM
Substats: ER or EM
Swirl reactions cannot crit so the only important stats are ER for burst uptime and EM for swirl damage.

In invested Venti builds the ER substat is very likely to be redundant so the main value of this weapon comes from the passive being able to buff both ATK and EM of your other party members.
Increases Elemental Mastery by 60~120. When the Elemental Skills or Elemental Bursts of the character wielding this weapon hit opponents, that character gains a Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" effect for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Farewell Song" increases Elemental Mastery by 100~200 and increases ATK by 20~40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s.
Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.Usually the best weapon for Venti's damage. both the EM substat and passive are very effective.
An event-exclusive weapon that works on Venti.
While the passive is good and ER is valuable at low-investments this weapon gets mentioned because a copy is given out for free. You will want Crit Rate stats to use the passive which is why its not as valuable as other options.
While the passive is pretty good on Venti, not having an EM substat does hurt more invested builds.
Event locked weapon, useful if ER is low and Favonius is equipped on another character.
Best F2P option since it has an EM stat and a very good conditional passive.

At low investment, you don't realy need more than the 4PC effect of VV (yes you can ignore main-stats if it means completing the set).
Worthwhile if you run teams where VV does not work. Not recommended to go out of your way to farm this set for Venti.
Use this artifact set only if you aren't able to farm lv.90 Viridiscent Venerer Domain.
Crit Sub DPS Build
This build is NOT recommended unless you have a constellated Venti or you want to use him in a mono element team. It needs much more investment than a EM build and is less efficient.
Burst > Skill
Burst may be brought up to level 9/10 as its damage and quadratic scaling (more enemies hit = higher damage) make it worth a crown.
Main stats: ER or ATK% / Anemo DMG% / Crit Rate/DMG%
Substats: Crit Rate/DMG > ATK% > ER%
Make sure to have at least 160% Energy Recharge and a balanced Crit Ratio. Go for 1:3 if a Crit Weapon is equipped, else 1:2.

Crit stat sticks with similar and unnoticeable differences in performance.
These weapons give Venti a lot of ATK and extra damage, so make sure to balance your crit ratio with artifacts only. Especially good with refinements.
These weapons are not the best on Venti but if you happen to have them, feel free to put them to use.
If you are at an early stage of the game with none of the weapon options mentioned above, 3 stars weapons might come in hand as they're easy to get. Note that you should replace them with better options as soon as you happen to get one.

4 piece Viridiscent Venerer remains best in slot due to its debuff effect, very useful with mono element teams as well.
If you're planning to use Venti in a reactionless team (mono Geo or mono Anemo), then 4 piece Noblesse is a valid option. It is however not recommended to farm this set exclusively for Venti.
If you happen to have great rolls you can also go with any 2 piece combination of these sets:
You may use this set if you aren't able to farm for 5 star artifacts consistently.
