Best Build for Traveler (Electro) in Genshin Impact

Pros & Cons
- Unique niche as a Battery with Flat Energy
- Can be very useful for hypercarries who need a lot of energy
- Low investment, High impact
- Free constellations
- This becomes a con if you want to play Traveler without their C6 as they really benefit from their constellations.
- Damage is not that impressive
- Small talent modifiers push Traveler away from offensive stats
- ER dependent
- Anti-synergy in his battery design
- Flat energy from Traveler's Burst is not increased by the ER given from Traveler's skill
- Energy recovery from Traveler's Burst requires you to damage enemies not land hits

Builds
Electro Support Build
Traveler's low talent numbers imply that Traveler's ideal role is as a supportive member. Not that their damage is negligible but rather you don't need to invest much into Traveler to get the most damage out of them. They're however a great Battery unit for your team, especially for Electro characters.
Skill = Burst
Traveler's skill generally provides more energy than their Burst but not by a lot. Levelling both together is recommended.
Main stats: ER/Electro or EM/Crit Rate or EM
Substats: ER/Crit/ATK
Traveler wants lots of ER if they will be used as a dedicated battery unit. Crit rate is valuable for Favonius Sword. EM is a useful stat in parties where Traveler's will be causing reactions (Hyperbloom, Overload).

Traveler will benefit more from weapons with good utility passives rather than raw stats. These options increase their performance as a Battery and help the team.
Premium option, if you have it, use it.
CRIT Rate increased by 4~8%.
Gains Skypiercing Might upon using Elemental Burst: Increases Movement SPD by 10%, increases ATK SPD by 10%, and Normal and Charged hits deal additional DMG equal to 20~40% of ATK. Skypiercing Might lasts for 12s.Good passives, give a lot of ER and some extra damage.
A good weapon but the lackluster passive means you will want to replace it with a 4* weapon later on

Giving more support to your party is always valuable. If your party doesn't have one user, Traveler is sufficient as the Noblesse Oblige holder
since ER is an important stat on Traveler, the 2pc effect becomes very helpful, while the 4pc effect helps out on damage. A very good set in general, and a good set on Traveler.
