Builds
Off-Field DPS Build
The main way you'll want to play Fischl. Oz's damage and Fischl's A4 talent imply that you won't need Fischl on the field to do a lot of damage.
Skill > Burst
Oz's damage comes from the Skill. The Burst is mostly used for increasing Oz's uptime but its damage should not be ignored.
Main stats: ATK/Electro/Crit
Substats: Crit/ATK/ER
Fischl wants some ER but its not worth running ER sands or weapon to fill it.

5★ bows are very good and usually outperform any 4★ weapons, Polar Star shines above the others but for Fischl's case not by much.
Good stats and great passive for her. At R5 this weapon competes for Fischl's best weapon.
A great ATK stat stick that also helps with both Crit Rate and DMG. An overall solid option for every Bow user, and Fischl makes no exception.
One of Fischl's best weapons on release, the issues it has comes from its EM substat. While Fischl does share some reactions, it really requires her to be at max ascension to make it competitive with other weapons.
Its passive is very good especially at high refines, making it very competitive with most of Fischl's weapon options.
2.7. Event weapon that gives ER% and buffs Fischl's damage. Good at R5 especially.
F2P Refinement 5 Weapon gained through Fishing in Sumeru. Mostly ER% stat stick.
Being able to group enemies makes it worth the extra field time for Fischl. That and Crit Rate is a good substat to have.
A good stat stick while looking for 4★ weapon choices (Rust,Prototype Crescent,Stringless,Alley Hunter)

While set bonuses contribute good damage, unless you're specifically building Fischl it is better to farm sets for other characters and reserve the very good pieces for Fischl.
Fischl can use this set, but you sacrifice her impressive damage for a small amount of utility. If you happen to have the pieces, its fine but its not recommended to farm for this set for Fischl. Generally your team benefits more from Fischl's raw damage than the 20% ATK buff.
Physical DPS Build
Fischl's first two hits in her Normal Attack sequence have animation-cancelling techs. A fun build for those looking to master Genshin's bow-mechanics.
Skill = Normal Attack > Burst
Fischl's normal attack is the heart of this build. That does not mean you can neglect raising the Skill.
Main stats: ATK/Phys/Crit
Substats: Crit/ATK/ER
Even in a Normal Attack centric build you still value Oz's uptime so having enough ER to burst really does help.

5★ bows are very good and usually outperform any 4★ weapons, Thundering Pulse being the best option while having Skyward Harp is an excellent stat-stick that you might not benefit from better weapons.
Fischl's personal weapon. Its passive synergizes well with Fischl, especially in this build.
The recommended choice for this build.
Crit Rate substats makes building easier while the passive is just generally useful
The passive is hard to pass up, even though it somewhat conflicts with what you go for in this build.
Attack speed is hard to evaluate in terms of damage but it makes the playstyle feel easier to pilot.

The best set for Physical DPS Fischl is a combination of these differents set. Use the ones with better substats and balanced crit ratio.
The 4pc effect can't be activated consistently but if you really have great substats, then it's worth using.
Fischl can take advantage of its 4pc and it'a also resin efficient to farm, however sticking to 2pc combinations is less time consuming and requires less investment and dedication.
DPS Fischl is very good in early game. Equop this set to her and she'll turn into a solid damage dealer.
