Best Build for Eula in Genshin Impact
Pros & Cons
- Best Physical DPS character
- Strongest Burst in the game
- Flexible weapon options, of which some are F2P
- Can take advantage of her Cryo element to trigger Superconduct easily
- Superconduct lowers the target's Physical RES
- High resistance to interruption
- Can stack her Burst without needing a shield (although it's preferred to have some protection, it isn't limiting)
- Requires a battery to use her Burst consistently
- Stacking her Burst can be troublesome
- Burst doesn't snapshot
- It's hard to time buffs correctly to still have them active at the moment of its explosion
- Underwhelming in Spiral Abyss due to massive Phys RES on certain enemies
Perform up to 5 consecutive strikes.
Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous slashes.
At the end of the sequence, perform a more powerful slash.
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Sharp frost, swift blade.
Slashes swiftly, dealing Cryo DMG.
When it hits an opponent, Eula gains a stack of Grimheart that stacks up to 2 times. These stacks can only be gained once every 0.3s.
Increases Eula's resistance to interruption and DEF.
Wielding her sword, Eula consumes all the stacks of Grimheart and lashes forward, dealing AoE Cryo DMG to opponents in front of her.
If Grimheart stacks are consumed, surrounding opponents will have their Physical RES and Cryo RES decreased.
Each consumed stack of Grimheart will be converted into an Icewhirl Brand that deals Cryo DMG to nearby opponents.
Brandishes her greatsword, dealing Cryo DMG to nearby opponents and creating a Lightfall Sword that follows her around for a duration of up to 7s.
While present, the Lightfall Sword increases Eula's resistance to interruption. When Eula's own Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst deal DMG to opponents, they will charge the Lightfall Sword, which can gain an energy stack once every 0.1s.
Once its duration ends, the Lightfall Sword will descend and explode violently, dealing Physical DMG to nearby opponents.
This DMG scales on the number of energy stacks the Lightfall Sword has accumulated.
If Eula leaves the field, the Lightfall Sword will explode immediately.
When Eula crafts Character Talent Materials, she has a 10% chance to receive double the product.
If 2 stacks of Grimheart are consumed upon unleashing the Holding Mode of Icetide Vortex, a Shattered Lightfall Sword will be created that will explode immediately, dealing 50% of the basic Physical DMG dealt by a Lightfall Sword created by Glacial Illumination.
When Glacial Illumination is cast, the CD of Icetide Vortex is reset and Eula gains 1 stack of Grimheart.
Every time Icetide Vortex's Grimheart stacks are consumed, Eula's Physical DMG is increased by 30% for 6s.
Each stack consumed will increase the duration of this effect by 6s up to a maximum of 18s.
Decreases the CD of Icetide Vortex's Holding Mode, rendering it identical to Tapping CD.
Increases the Level of Glacial Illumination by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Lightfall Swords deal 25% increased DMG against opponents with less than 50% HP.
Increases the Level of Icetide Vortex by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Lightfall Swords created by Glacial Illumination start with 5 stacks of energy. Normal Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts have a 50% chance to grant the Lightfall Sword an additional stack of energy.

Physical DPS Build
Eula is the best On-Field Physical DPS due to her fast normal attacks, built-in Physical shred, interrupt resistance, and massive scaling on her burst. However, she has to rely on a battery to recharge her Burst, and has to deal with extended amounts of downtime.
Normal Attack = Burst > Skill
Eula will spend most of her field time doing normal attacks while recharging or stacking up her burst. Both should be leveled up to increase her damage output. Her skill is also worth leveling up since the shred also scales with level.
Main stats: ATK/Physical DMG/Crit
Eula's burst is very expensive, so she requires a decent amount of ER from substats. Her ER needs depends if there are batteries on the team who help recharge her burst.
Eula's signature and best weapon, specifically made for her.
Increases ATK by 16~32%, and when Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents, the character gains a Sigil of Whispers. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s. When you possess four Sigils of Whispers, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the "Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn" effect for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn" increases Normal ATK SPD by 12~24% and increases ATK by 20~40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Whispers for 20s.Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement", buffs of the same type will not stack.
Solid 5★ options that provide a huge ATK increase. Recommended if you do not own Song of Broken Pines as the DMG output is very similar.
These 4★ weapons also provide a ton of damage to Eula especially at higher refinements.
Eula appreciates the Crit DMG and can somewhat use the passive as her Skill gives her some extra DEF.
Skyward Pride's ER helps out Eula's burst uptime a lot. This allows for more Crit/ATK substats instead of ER substats or battery dependence.
Very powerful F2P weapon, if not the best. It provides lots of ATK and burst DMG buff but it is unfortunately an event-exclusive weapon.
The Blackcliff Slasher performs very well due to its Crit DMG and ATK buff from its passive. Although the passive is powerful especially with refinements and stacks, it can be inconsistent since stacks cannot be obtained when fighting a single tanky enemy.
Great F2P weapon for Eula as it provides a lot of ATK. The extra attack from its passive gains a lot of damage from refinements and can end up as a mini-nuke.
Eula's worst F2P weapon as it has much weaker stats and an underwhelming passive. This only gets a mention since it can be obtained without forging.
4PC Pale Flame will offer the most damage but only if you are able to maintain stacks consistently, which means that you should only use Hold-Skill right before her burst ends.
If you're still farming for 4pc Pale Flame, you can use this combination temporarily. It offers great damage since it provides a constant 50% Phys DMG buff and is only slightly weaker than 4PC Pale Flame.
These set combinations are weaker in terms of damage but are much easier to farm.
This set provides a great amount of Crit Rate, which is very helpful. It's also easy to get as it's dropped by Elite monsters and Bosses.
