Builds
Support Build
Bennett is arguably the best support in the game since he can provide massive ATK buffs and healing at the same time. He can be built either as a pure healing support or as a more offensive nuke support.
Burst > Skill
As a support, only his burst should be prioritized since it increases his healing, ATK buff, and nuke damage. Leveling up his skill isn't as much of a priority but will increase his damage output when he is used to generate particles.
Main stats: ER or HP/HP/Healing Bonus or HP
Substats: ER/HP/Crit Rate
Bennett only requires ER and HP when used as a healer. This build is very cost-efficient since he does not need to worry about substats in order to perform well. With at least 2 healer main stats, Bennett can ditch healing artifact sets. Crit Rate substats should only be relevant when using a Favonius Sword.
Main stats: ER or ATK or EM/Pyro DMG/Crit
Substats: Crit/ER/EM/ATK
This Nuke Build focuses more on Bennett's massive burst damage while sacrificng some of his healing. EM is only worth taking if he can trigger Melt/Vaporize with his burst. ER should only be prioritized until he can comfortably recharge his burst before the cooldown ends.

These weapons are better for increasing Bennett's personal damage and his ATK buff due to their superior Base ATKs and offense-based substats and passives, but make Bennett more dependent on ER substats for burst uptime.
Gain a 12~24% Elemental DMG Bonus for every element and receive the might of Mistsplitter's Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, Mistsplitter's Emblem provides a 8/16/28~16/32/56% Elemental DMG Bonus for the character's Elemental Type.
The character will obtain 1 stack of Mistsplitter's Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently.ATK is increased by 20~40%.
Triggers on taking DMG: the soul of the Falcon of the West awakens, holding the banner of the resistance aloft, regenerating HP equal to 100~160% of ATK and dealing 200~320% of ATK as DMG to surrounding opponents. This effect can only occur once every 15s.A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds.
Increases DMG by 10~20%.
When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field.
When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12s.
"Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16~32% and increases ATK by 20~40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s.
Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack. These ER swords are slightly weaker in terms of damage due to their lower Base ATKs and inferior passives, but greatly improve Bennett's burst uptime and reduce his dependence on ER substats.
CRIT Rate increased by 4~8%.
Gains Skypiercing Might upon using Elemental Burst: Increases Movement SPD by 10%, increases ATK SPD by 10%, and Normal and Charged hits deal additional DMG equal to 20~40% of ATK. Skypiercing Might lasts for 12s.Favonius and Sacrificial Swords have lower Base ATKs, but their passives make Bennett perform much better as a battery.
This craftable weapon from Sumeru has high base ATK and gives a considerable amount of ER%. It also boosts Bennett's personal damage when Dendro reactions are triggered.
Last resort weapon for Bennett due to its abysmal Base ATK, but it can help with his ER needs early into the game.

Bennett is one of the best 4PC Noblesse users since it synergizes well with his own ATK buff, nuke potential, and high burst uptime. This set is most effective on him since it allows other members to use more damage-oriented sets.
These sets do not provide any support for your team but massively increase Bennett's personal damage.
These sets are weaker but easier to farm.
These 4★ sets aren't recommended due to their weaker scaling, but can improve Bennett's performance for newer players.
Only effective when running a team that benefits from EM. Improves Bennett's damage if he can trigger Melt/Vaporize with his burst.
DPS Build
Although Bennett is most commonly built as a support character, he performs well as a self-supporting DPS. His A4 talent allows him to use his skill much more often. When combined with an enabler like Chongyun or Xingqiu, Bennett can quickly dish out loads of damage with Melt/Reverse Vaporize. Even with DPS-focused stats, his healing is still sufficient.
Talent Priority
Skill = Burst
His skill will be delivering most of the damage, but leveling his burst will also increase the initial nuke damage and ATK buff scaling.
Main stats: ATK or EM/Pyro DMG/Crit
Substats: Crit/ATK/EM/ER
Bennett does not need ER sands since he generates his own particles and has ER as his ascension stat. EM is important since his damage is reliant on triggering reactions, but ATK can be prioritized if he already gets a lot of EM from other sources (substats, Sucrose, 4PC Instructor).

These 5★ weapons are ideal for Bennett due to their massive Base ATKs, damage-oriented second stats, and powerful passives.

Increases DMG by 10~20%.

"Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16~32% and increases ATK by 20~40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s.
Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.Although Aquila Favonia's Physical DMG stat is wasted, it has the highest possible Base ATK and emergency healing from its passive.
ATK is increased by 20~40%.
Triggers on taking DMG: the soul of the Falcon of the West awakens, holding the banner of the resistance aloft, regenerating HP equal to 100~160% of ATK and dealing 200~320% of ATK as DMG to surrounding opponents. This effect can only occur once every 15s.Skyward Blade is slightly weaker than Aquila Favonia, but having ER as a second stat makes Bennett less dependent on ER substats.
CRIT Rate increased by 4~8%.
Gains Skypiercing Might upon using Elemental Burst: Increases Movement SPD by 10%, increases ATK SPD by 10%, and Normal and Charged hits deal additional DMG equal to 20~40% of ATK. Skypiercing Might lasts for 12s.The Iron Sting is one of Bennett's best 4★ weapons, especially at higher refinements. Bennett benefits greatly from EM and the passive since he can easily maintain stacks, boosting his overall damage.
The Blackcliff Longsword can also outperform other F2P weapons while stacks are active. The passive is inconsistent since stacks cannot be obtained when fighting a single tanky enemy.
The Black Sword is only really useful for its Crit Rate stat. The passive effectively does nothing for Bennett so further refinements are pointless.
The Festering Desire is a decent F2P weapon since it helps his burst uptime and skill's Crit Rate/DMG.

This is the best set for DPS Bennett as long as he can consistently trigger Vaporize/Melt. He can easily maintain stacks with his A4 talent and he benefits a lot from Pyro DMG and Vaporize/Melt bonuses.
These sets will provide less damage but are easier to farm.
This set is particulary good for shredding through electro shields very quickly. Bennett can make good use of this set when paired with an Electro support for consistent Overloaded reactions, although this can be problematic since Overloaded can push smaller enemies outside Bennett's burst.
