Kamisato Ayato shifts positions and enters the Takimeguri Kanka state. After this shift, he will leave a watery illusion at his original location. After it is formed, the watery illusion will explode if opponents are nearby or after its duration ends, dealing AoE Hydro DMG.
Takimeguri Kanka
In this state, Kamisato Ayato uses his Shunsuiken to engage in blindingly fast attacks, causing DMG from his Normal Attacks to be converted into AoE Hydro DMG. This cannot be overridden.
It also has the following properties:
- After a Shunsuiken attack hits an opponent, it will grant Ayato the Namisen effect, increasing the DMG dealt by Shunsuiken based on Ayato's current Max HP. The initial maximum number of Namisen stacks is 4, and 1 stack can be gained through Shunsuiken every 0.1s. This effect will be dispelled when Takimeguri Kanka ends.
- Kamisato Ayato's resistance to interruption is increased.
- Unable to use Charged or Plunging Attacks.
Takimeguri Kanka will be cleared when Ayato leaves the field. Using Kamisato Art: Kyouka again while in the Takimeguri Kanka state will reset and replace the pre-existing state.

Unveils a garden of purity that silences the cacophony within. While this space exists, Bloomwater Blades will constantly rain down and attack opponents within its AoE, dealing Hydro DMG and increasing the Normal Attack DMG of characters within.
Passives

When Ayato cooks a dish perfectly, he has a 18% chance to receive an additional "Suspicious" dish of the same type.

Kamisato Art: Kyouka has the following properties:

- When the water illusion explodes, Ayato will gain a Namisen effect equal to the maximum number of stacks possible.

Builds
Hydro DPS Build
Ayato has very powerful Hydro application, both from his skill infusion and burst. He is very flexible as a Hydro DPS; Vaporize, Freeze, and Electro-Charged are viable builds on him as long as his team sets up reactions. A Vaporize team needs fast and consistent Pyro applications (Xiangling or Sunfire) to match Ayato's fast Hydro attacks.
Skill > Burst
Since Ayato's infusion has a different scaling, skill and burst should be leveled first. There's no need to upgrate Normal Attacks at all as there are no scalings that increase Ayato's Hydro DMG.
Main stats: ATK/Hydro/Crit
Substats: Crit/ATK/EM/ER
EM is a powerful stat if he can trigger Vaporize reliably. However, giving him EM sands hurts his flexibility since he does not benefit from it when used as a Freeze or Electro-Charged DPS. ER isn't as much of a priority since his A4 passive generates energy.

These 5★ weapons provide a lot of raw stats and damage from the passives.
Gain a 12~24% Elemental DMG Bonus for every element and receive the might of Mistsplitter's Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, Mistsplitter's Emblem provides a 8/16/28~16/32/56% Elemental DMG Bonus for the character's Elemental Type.
The character will obtain 1 stack of Mistsplitter's Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently.Amenoma Kageuchi is a great F2P weapon for Ayato since it allows him to be flexible in team comps while providing ATK and burst uptime.
This weapon is most useful on a Vaporize Ayato build. Provides a lot of personal damage and support to your team.
A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds.
Increases DMG by 10~20%.
When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field.
When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12s.
"Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16~32% and increases ATK by 20~40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s.
Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.Best utilized on a Vaporize/Electro-Charged Build.
Best utilized on a Vaporize Build.

These sets have very similar performances so it boils down to substats and preference. The sets are ranked in order of decreasing resin efficiency.
Though the 2PC set effect is wasted, Ayato gains a ton of Crit Rate in a Freeze team. This set is not recommended if Ayato is using a Crit Rate weapon since there is a risk of exceeding 100% Crit Rate.
This set has a much higher damage ceiling and a much lower damage floor. Not recommended since it is inconsistent and not as resin efficient compared to the previous sets.
This effect will be dispelled 0.05s after a Normal Attack deals DMG. If a Normal Attack fails to trigger Valley Rite, the odds of it triggering the next time will increase by 20%.
This trigger can occur once every 0.2s.These set combinations are weaker in terms of damage but are much easier to farm.
